DAC09: Logistics

Location

DAC09 will take place on the campus of the University of California, Irvine (UCI). UCI is located in Orange County, California, in the southern part of greater Los Angeles, about 3 miles from the coast.

On campus, the event will take place in and around the Maya Lin Arts Plaza of the UCI Claire Trevor School of the Arts, including the Beall Center for Art and Technology, the Winifred Smith Theatre, and The Cybera Café.

Getting Here

The closest major airport is John Wayne/Orange County/SNA, which is about 10 minutes away from the UCI campus. John Wayne is not an international airport. For international travellers we recommend connecting from New York, Atlanta, Chicago, etc. to a domestic flight to John Wayne.

You may also fly into LAX or Long Beach, however please note that LAX is about 50 minutes away and Long Beach is 30 minutes away and no public transporation to UCI is available from either (though commercial shuttles are available).
